Examination and Certification
ICAS provides different levels of certificates in different streams of knowledge by holding examinations.
The Controller of Examinations, the Examination Wing of ICAS holds examinations for following courses
- Jyotish Praveena
- Jyotish Visharada
- Hasta Rekha Praveena
- Hasta Rekha Visharada
- Vāstu Praveena
- Vāstu Acharya
- Nādi Praveena
- Nādi Visharada
The students have the option to appear in examinations through online or offline mode. Offline examinations are held at our chapters as per the examination schedule announced by the Controller of examinations. The examinations are held at the stipulated scheduled time for all the courses.
Mode of Examinations Online mode: The students have the option to appear in the online mode of examination for papers of all the courses.
Offline mode: The students may appear for the examination at chapters/Centres of ICAS across India. Please go through the list of chapters/centers for further details.
Eligibility
- Jyotish Praveena, Hasta Rekha Praveena, Vāstu Praveena and Nādi Praveena examinations A candidate seeking admission to the above examination should be
- a Life member of the council,
- Should be above18 years of age
- must have passed the S.S.C. examination or equivalent thereto. These qualifications are not relaxable.
- Jyotish Visharada, Hasta Rekha Visharada, Vāstu Acharya and Nādi Visharada examinations
- Minimum qualifications for appearing in the above examination is a pass in Jyotish Praveena, Hasta Rekha Praveena, Vāstu Praveena and Nādi Praveena respectively.
- Applicant must be a life member of ICAS
Examination Schedule:
- Examinations are held every June and December.
- Please refer to the Examination Schedule published by the Controller of Examination for each semester.
- Students must register themselves for examination in each course on ICAS Portal within the stipulated date using their login credentials.

Reappearance The student who wishes to reappear due to failing to score passing marks in any examination or improvement in the examination should pay reappearance fees of Rs.150 per subject for Indian Students, and US$ 30[Equivalent to Rs.2500] for overseas students for each paper.
Examination Results
- June Examination : by 15th September
- December Examination: by 15th March
- The students can check the results on the ICAS portal by providing their credentials.
Revaluation [applicable only for offline examinations] Students who wish to apply for revaluation should send their requests through the chapter by paying the stipulated revaluation fees of Rs.100 per paper. The request for revaluation examination papers should be submitted within 10 days from the date of announcement of results.
